Welcome to the most anticipated event of the summer - the Pile O' Bowls Open (POBO).  Step into the heart of the Wild West next summer as the Regina Lawn Bowling Club proudly hosts a thrilling, high-stakes lawn bowling tournament like no other.

Born out of a desire to revolutionize the national lawn bowling scene, POBO presents a fresh and exciting take on the sport, combining the thrill of competition with the hospitality of the Wild West. Hosted at the scenic Regina Lawn Bowling Club, POBO offers a truly unique experience.

August 1 -4, 2024 - POBO is an open 4s concept, comprising any combination of men and women, competing in 12 end games, 3 games per day, 9 games guaranteed. The promise of excitement at every roll.

But POBO isn't just about the greens; it's about embracing the spirit of the west with its full-fledged festival of fun. Open bar, lively music, western grub - creating an atmosphere where competitors and spectators alike can enjoy a unique fusion of sport and camaraderie, and the promise of unforgettable memories.

Roxanne Brown Jewellery

Roxanne Brown is a silversmith creating one of a kind piece of jewellery by combining elements of sterling silver, hints of copper and brass and touches of semi-precious gems. Roxanne has a surprise for our 2024 POBO participants. Each participant will receive a piece from the Roxanne Brown Jewellery collection as a souvenir of their time spent in Regina, at the Regina Lawn Bowling Club. Additionally, participants can order custom POBO Jewellery pieces from the Roxanne Brown website.

Registration Cost:
The cost to play in POBO is $200 CAD per person ($800 CAD per team). Each team is guaranteed a total of 9 round robin games.

Event Format

POBO is a mix and match open 4's tournament. Round up your posse of four and enter for a chance to claim the bounty! Your posse can be comprised of any combination of bounty hunters!

Registration Cost:
The cost to play in POBO is $200 CAD per person ($800 CAD per team). Each team is guaranteed a total of 9 round robin games.

Bounty:
All registration money will be added to the 'bounty'. The RLBC will take 25% of the bounty for organizing the competition. Posses placing in the top four spots will claim the other 75% of the bounty in CAD.

Bounty Breakdown:

50% to 1st place
25% to 2nd place
15% to 3rd place
10% to 4th place

POBO is accepting a maximum of 48 posses so make sure you grab your spot to compete!
